Tug YourgrauPresident, Powderhouse Productions Inc. Tug Yourgrau is an award-winning filmmaker with more than twenty-five years experience. He has executive produced or produced and directed series and programs for The Discovery Channel, TLC, National Geographic, History Channel, WGBH and PBS. Among his recent productions was the award-winning 120" PBS special Raising Cain. Tug served as Senior Producer for Special Projects at The Monitor Channel, and as Senior Producer at WGBH-Boston. Tug is also an award-winning playwright and theatrical director. His play, The Song of Jacob Zulu, received 1993 TONY nominations for Best Play and for Best Score (with Ladysmith Black Mambazo). Time Magazine chose the play as one of The Ten Best of 1993. Tug's theatre directing earned him Boston's 1993 Moss Hart Award. Tug was born in Johannesburg, South Africa.
