Managing Director, Reveille
Howard T. Owens, Managing Director of Reveille, is responsible for creating, selling and producing innovative content for television and digital platforms. Owens was a founding member of Reveille's management team and has remained a principal in the company since its inception in 2002. In 2008, Elisabeth Murdoch's Shine Group purchased the company.
Owens has created and/or produced a wide range of scripted and unscripted TV programming, including MasterChef, Got To Dance, The Biggest Loser, Losing it with Jillian, The Buried Life, Breakthrough with Tony Robbins, Gigantic, 30 Days, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, Shear Genius, Date My Mom and Parental Control. Owens also crafted Reveille's innovative deals with Microsoft and Yahoo!, whereby Reveille creates and produces online entertainment for Fortune 500 brands, for distribution via MSN.com and Yahoo.com.
As part of the 30 Days production team, Owens received a GLAAD Media Award, two Insight Awards and the Muslim Public Affairs Council’s Voice of Courage and Conscience Media Award. He was also nominated for a prestigious Producer’s Guild Award.
Prior to Reveille, Owens was an agent in the television packaging and corporate branding divisions at the William Morris Agency. Before working at William Morris, he co-founded and co-owned Outdoor Concepts, based in New York City and Tokyo, Japan and later acquired by Titan Media. Prior to launching his media career, Owens was an attorney in private practice in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where he also served as a staff clerk for the Office of the State's Attorney.
