BAFTA and EMMY award-winning Ruth Wrigley is Entertainment and Format Executive across the entire ALL3MEDIA Group. Ruth has more than 20 years experience across a wide range of innovative and genre breakings programmes, from serious investigative documentary to comedy and live- studio entertainment shows - as well as large scale multi –platform events and major reality series.
Ruth is co-creator and executive producer of the BAFTA winning, genre defining The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) as well as being responsible for the first three highly successful ( and again ,BAFTA winning) series of Big Brother in the UK plus the Emmy-award winning How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria for BBC1.
Prior to Big Brother Ruth played a pivotal role in creating and delivering the groundbreaking Big Breakfast for Channel Four as well as numerous big, live Saturday night entertainment shows.
She has been Head of Entertainment and Factual Entertainment for Endemol, Freemantle and TalkbackThames, Head of Entertainment Events at the BBC and Head of Entertainment at Celador (now CPL) Productions before joining All3Media four years ago.
Since joining the group she has worked domestically and internationally across numerous companies, including Objective productions (the Cube), North One (Tarrant Lets the Kids Loose), Lion ( Cash Cab and All or Nothing) North One , and most recently atLime Pictures , creating and delivering a total of seven series of the multi award winning TOWIE. She is now working on versions of the format for the USA and for India.
