In the U.S. screen entertainment industry, the lion's share of the content comes from creative and business hubs stationed in the bigger cities - New York, Los Angeles, et cetera. And while certainly the effort is made to tell stories that resonate with Americans, perhaps there is a sizable part of the country that isn't represented, either in front of or behind the camera. How does this disparity, noted often in the run-up and aftermath of the recent U.S. presidential election, manifest itself in unscripted content? What stories are being missed, and who should tell them? This panel will examine these questions and more, with an eye towards providing a more complete picture of America and its people.
