Mark Reynolds is the Genre Director for Factual at BBC Worldwide, overseeing a portfolio of titles including Planet Earth II, Forces of Nature, Louis Theroux: My Scientology Movie, Life and Death Row and Operation Gold Rush.
Mark is responsible for developing and delivering the content strategy for Factual including managing creative partnerships, talent relationships, content acquisitions and co-production. The Factual genre encompasses Natural History, Science, Documentaries, History, Music, and Current Affairs. He also manages BBC Earth Productions and has a role in the commissioning or original series for the BBC Earth channel.
Previous roles at the company include Commercial Director, Factual and Director of Factual for the Indie Unit. Mark was also Head of Factual, Acquisitions and Co-productions for Granada International. Mark joined Granada following a previous spell at BBC Worldwide where he was based in New York as Vice President, Factual Co-productions and Sales.
