As Director of Development at WE tv, Amanda Culkowski is responsible for scouting and developing fresh, new unscripted series that fit with the network’s existing slate of popular shows including Braxton Family Values, Marriage Bootcamp and the hit Growing Up Hip Hop franchise.
During her tenure at WE tv, Amanda has overseen the series development of Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never and the Brooklyn based show, Hustle & Soul, which is currently in its second season.
Prior to joining WE tv, Amanda was a member of the HGTV production team in New York. Starting her career at PBS, she has held positions at ThinkTV Public Television in Dayton, Ohio and served as the PBS and NPR pledge scriptwriter at WOUB in Athens, Ohio. Amanda holds a Master of Arts degree from Ohio University. She is based in Brooklyn and is originally from Toledo, Ohio.
