Joel Savitt joined YouTube in May 2016 as Head of Production for YouTube Originals, where he works with partners and oversees all physical and financial aspects of their productions for YouTube Original Programming. Prior to joining YouTube, Joel was the VP of Production and Operations at NBCUniversal’s cable network Oxygen where he managed the production of approximately 90 cycles of original series, 25 pilots, and over 250 development projects. Joel has also worked in senior management roles with prominent entertainment companies, including Katalyst Media, Go Go Luckey Productions, Scout Productions, and FOXLAB / 20th Television. Joel is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He resides joyfully in Los Angeles, California with his wife and their two daughters.
