Hayden K. Meyer is a Partner and Head of Alternative & Factual Programming at APA, one of the largest diversified talent agencies in the industry with offices in Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, New York, Toronto and London. Since joining APA in 2006, Meyer has led the growth of its Alternative & Factual Programming department into a market leader, distinguished by a unique business model which promotes unparalleled teamwork and a premium level of packaging and staffing services across all genres of alternative and factual programming.
Along with his colleagues, Meyer has been instrumental in the sales of hundreds of series, including Car Masters: Rust To Riches (Netflix), Dance Moms (Lifetime), Dr. Pimple Popper (TLC), Evil Lives Here (ID), Haunted Towns (Travel Channel), Leah Remini: Scientology and The Aftermath (A&E), The Deed (CNBC) and the Joker's World (TBS). In addition, the AFP Department is the industry’s preferred supplier of upper-level staff for top-rated programs, including American Ninja Warrior (NBC), Are You The One? (MTV), Big Brother (CBS), Chrisley Knows Best (USA), Forged in Fire (History), Gold Rush (Discovery), So You Think You Can Dance (FOX) and The $100,000 Pyramid (ABC). Furthermore, APA’s institutional approach to representation continually generates opportunities for its AFD department clients across other areas of entertainment such as scripted programming, publishing, endorsements, podcasting and live event touring.
Meyer began his career in freelance film and television production. A native of South Florida, he is a graduate of Northwestern University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications.
