Roger Webb has over twenty years’ experience creating award-winning natural history across a broad range of titles, often in a complex live television environment.

Most recently, Roger was the series editor on the BAFTA-winning Big Blue Live and the executive producer of the BAFTA nominated Wild Alaska Live. He also exec produced Gordon Buchanan’s Life in the Snow and Reindeer Family and Me. Other credits include Planet Earth Live, Springwatch, Big Cat Diary and a range of children’s programming.

Roger is passionate about wildlife broadcasting and has a reputation for delivering exceptional quality under pressure.

He is currently overseeing Blue Planet Live, which is due to air on BBC One in March 2019, as well as Earth’s Great Rivers and Cities: Nature’s New Wild for BBC Two. Roger has been Commissioning Editor of the award-winning Natural World strand since 2013.
