Jason Ryan is a Media Professional with over a decade of experience in television production and cable television. He began his television career as producer of the Hampton University television news program, HU on Point, while he studied Broadcast Journalism. Upon graduating from Hampton University, he was hired as the Media Librarian at the cable television network, TV One. A year later, Jason was promoted to Content Management Specialist where he was responsible for managing the Quality Control of TV One programming and was a technical advisor to Production Companies hired by the network for various projects. Jason later joined the TV One Legal department as the Manager of Standards and Practices.

Jason is currently a member of the Original Programming and Production department at TV One and CLEOtv where he serves as Executive Producer in Charge for original programs Unsung, Uncensored, Cleo Speaks and Just Eats with Chef JJ among others. Jason also works in development and acquisitions of scripted programming for the networks.

In his free time, Jason continues to develop his craft as screenwriter. He has written several scripts including Feature Films, Television pilots and short films in the genres of Science Fiction, Comedy, Animation and Action/Drama. Jason currently lives in Maryland with his Wife.
