Jim Pasquarella is Vice President, Programming & Development for HISTORY. In this role, he spearheads the development and production of a slate of nonfiction series and specials. During his time at HISTORY, Pasquarella has created and Executive Produced the hit The Food that Built America, the critically-acclaimed 9/11: Escape from the Towers, and has overseen some of the network’s biggest series hits including Forged in Fire, American Pickers, and Top Gear.
Prior to joining HISTORY, Pasquarella was in development and production at truTV where he worked on developing and launching worldwide smash Impractical Jokers, as well as developing and overseeing long-running hit series The Carbonaro Effect. He joined truTV prior to its rebrand from CourtTV where he had produced a slate of crime and investigation series & specials.
Pasquarella started his career in freelance development and production, working on series for networks including AMC and Discovery.
