Morgan Hertzan is a multiple Emmy and DuPont Award-winning producer, entrepreneur and media executive. He currently is Executive Vice President and General Manager of television at VICE TV, a joint venture with A+E Networks. At VICE TV, Hertzan has led the network as it has doubled down on news and docuseries, paving new ground with the launch Cari & Jemele Won't Stick To Sports, the first late-night talk series in mainstream television driven by two Black women, Cari Champion and Jemele Hill; the independent documentary series VICE VERSA, a hub for compelling storytelling that challenges the status quo; and the relaunch of the Emmy Award-winning nightly newscast VICE News Tonight. Under Hertzan, VICE TV has seen its largest ratings ever with critically-acclaimed series Dark Side of the Ring. Hertzan was previously a partner at Efran Films where he created series for multiple cable networks, and a senior vice president and general manager of Walt Disney Television/ABC News’ Lincoln Square Studios. At Lincoln Square, Morgan oversaw and produced some of the most popular and award winning truth based entertainment on television including Viola Davis' The Last Defense for ABC, John Ridley's multi-award winning documentary event Let It Fall,  Netflix's Reversing Roe, ABC’s What Would You Do?, ABC’s award winning True Medicine franchise (NY MED, Save My Life, Boston EMS), the OSCAR© Red Carpet Opening Ceremony LIVE, Discovery ID’s Barbara Walters Presents American Scandal, as well as unscripted programming for a wide array of partners including Discovery Communications, YouTube, Netflix, VIACOM, and A & E Networks.  Morgan developed and produced ABC’s Original Movie Event Madoff starring Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner, as well as multiple scripted Lifetime movies as well as mini series for cable and streaming all based on true stories.

Prior to his tenure at Disney/ABC, Morgan served as Senior Vice President at NBC Local Media as well as general manager of LX.TV, the lifestyle production company that he co-founded in 2006 and that NBC acquired in 2008. Under his leadership and as executive producer, LX.TV launched several successful syndicated and network shows including OpenHouse, George To The Rescue and LX.TV 1st Look, as well as the daily talk show New York Live and a variety of major entertainment projects and special series. Morgan oversaw all aspects of that business.  Before creating LX.TV Morgan spent many years at  VIACOM and MTV developing new businesses and programming. Morgan created and successfully launched mtvU, a 24-hour college cable network that currently reaches 750 campuses and over 7.5 million college students nationwide, as well as roles launching international MTV Channels, and serving as the General Manager of MTV Puerto Rico. He started his career as an assistant to legendary 60 Minutes anchor, Mike Wallace.  Morgan lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
