Rob Carey is a leading Executive Producer and content originator with a history of creating successful, returnable brands in the UK and North America with popular appeal and high production values. Since launching in 2014, Curve Media have produced over 30 hit series and documentaries including; Salvage Hunters (Discovery), Vicky McClure: Our Dementia Choir (BBC), 999: On The Front Line (Channel 4), Secret Millions (ITV), How Did They Build That? Before founding Curve Media with business and creative partner Camilla Lewis, Rob was EVP and International Creative Director for Cineflix from 2008 to 2014. He oversaw all development, pitching and production in the US, UK and Canada. His tenure saw the company’s unscripted output grow to over 300 hours a year with big hits including American Pickers, Manson, Property Brothers, Cold Blood, Air Crash Investigation, Property Virgins, Python Hunters, Trauma Doctors, Food Factories, Nazi Hunters and the Emmy-winning Pet School. 

Previously, Rob was Head of Factual Entertainment for At It Productions, and Creative Director, Factual Entertainment and Features for Mentorn Media. At Mentorn, Rob co-created and Executive Produced Britain’s Worst Driver which grew into the highly successful ‘Worst’ franchise – producing ten series over four years with the format still one of the top 30 best selling tv formats of all time. In 2008 he won the Rose D’Or in Montreaux for another format he created for the BBC - Hider In The House, which has also sold extensively worldwide.
