Harjeet Chhokar is currently a Commissioning Editor in the Channel 4 Factual team, where his recent commissions have included Is Co-Vid Racist? Hitched at Home and The Year that Changed Love.
Prior to joining the broadcaster in 2020, Harjeet worked in Factual programming for over 15 years, working his way up to series producer/director, across various primetime television series, including Ambulance (BBC One), Junior Doctors (BBC One & Three), Pilgrimage (BBC Two) and Employable Me (BBC Two). Other credits including award winning programmes like The Secret Life of 4, 5 and 6 Year Olds (Channel 4), How to Get a Council House (Channel 4), Educating Yorkshire (Channel 4), Jamie’s Dream School (Channel 4) and One Born Every Minute (Channel 4).
In his current role, Harjeet is looking after and commissioning across the wide spectrum of Factual programming – from multi-part observational documentary series to headline grabbing singles to Specialist Factual programmes.
