A veteran television production executive, Michelle has served as NPACT’s Head of Policy and Development since 2016, in addition to stepping in as NPACT’s General Manager on an interim basis in 2019 and 2020. NPACT, the trade organization for nonfiction production companies doing business in the U.S., provides resources and information to improve business conditions and profitability, and serves as the voice of nonfiction producers to the press, content partners and government agencies.
Prior to joining NPACT, Michelle was co-principal and executive producer at Film Garden Entertainment in Los Angeles for nearly 20 years, where she oversaw all business, production and daily operations of the prolific production company and served as executive producer on over 2000 episodes of content.
In addition to her current responsibilities with NPACT, Michelle is the Founder and Executive Director of Women in Nonfiction (WiN), a national organization to advocate for and support the career advancement of women working in the nonfiction entertainment industry.
