Lauren Celinski serves as Development Lead on the Personalities Vertical for YouTube Originals. She is responsible for developing unscripted content for the global platform, which boasts more than two billion logged-in monthly users, as well as overseeing projects through production. Since joining the team in January she has overseen The Creator Games Presented by MrBeast, YouTube Originals’ most-viewed live event ever with 662k concurrent viewers, in addition to The Secret Life of Lele Pons (trended #1 on the platform within 24 hours of launch) and #MoveWithMe in celebration of International Dance Day which was remotely shot and produced with 10 choreographers from seven countries across the globe. Most recently she took part in overseeing the livestream event Bear Witness, Take Action hosted by Common and Keke Palmer, which featured artists, creators, scholars, and prominent activists in a discussion around racial justice.
Prior to joining YouTube, Celinski was Vice President, Programming and Development at Lifetime where she developed and oversaw shows including Little Women of Atlanta, Little Women of Dallas. and Seatbelt Psychic. Celinski has also held development positions at E! where she was directly involved with getting 10 new series on air, and Discovery Channel.
Before moving up the network ranks, Celinski served as Director of Development for TGroup Productions. During her tenure, she created projects for various cable outlets, created Invention USA for History Channel, and developed Storage Hunters on truTV and Mystery Diners on Food Network.
Lauren attended New York University, Tisch School of the Arts and received her B.A. in Film and Television with a minor in Producing.
