The Handy Foundation

Ri-Karlo Handy is a professional with 25 years of experience editing and producing content, including creating Bounce TV’s hit drama series Saints & Sinners which is now available on Hulu. He has established a reputation as a showrunner at major networks such as MTV, OWN, and BET and has won a Prism Award and NAACP Image Award Nomination for the Keyshia Cole series.

In addition to his experience as a creative in production Ri-Karlo has spent several years in the boardroom developing content and building a television network from the ground up. As the SVP of original programming at Bounce TV he ran their entire original programming budget and schedule, growing the network to number two in ratings for the AA market. After learning the business of television on all sides of the industry, he independently produced and self syndicated several programs through his company Sunwise Media. Recently his first feature documentary, Hope Village was released on Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play stores and was syndicated nationally September 2020 in honor of National Recovery Month.

During this uncertain time in Hollywood, his post production skills have uniquely positioned him to navigate the uncertainty by editing film and TV from home. Sunwise Media has been trusted to deliver for several national television programs and handle post production for feature films and live streams for clients such as Black Enterprise, a business that was vital during the recent months of sheltering in place.
