Amy manages the sales and acquisitions for factual entertainment and feature documentaries with boutique distributor Espresso Media International. Espresso Media represent content for around 150 international producers, selling all media rights worldwide.
Amy has 9 years of experience with the company and her role includes acquiring completed films and developing new content based on market needs and industry trends. She then manages the sales of these projects to global networks, working closely with producers and broadcasters alike. She leads the marketing for their 850 hours of finished content, championing informative and compelling Social documentaries that celebrate diverse voices and points of view, plus innovative Science and Technology films and all other factual genres. Marketing also includes the unfinished content - projects seeking funding and pre-sales, with a particular focus in the History, Crime and Science space. In 2020, Amy co-developed and pre-sold 12 hours of content to UK networks including Channel 4, UKTV and A&E and the titles have since gone on to sell internationally. Espresso's slate covers a diverse range of topics and viewpoints and their clients include public service broadcasters, international cable/satellite channels and new media platforms as well as educational and in-flight buyers.
