Advisory Board Members

Stephanie Drachkovitch

President & Co-Founder
44 Blue Productions

As Executive Vice President of 44 Blue, Stephanie’s unique experience as a studio executive and showrunner has helped 44 Blue grow into one of the only independent production companies to produce across multiple genres, from top-rated docuseries to Emmy-nominated formats and studio-based content such as court, game and talk. As a result, the company has attracted high-profile talent and partners such as Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, Dick Wolf, Sean Hayes, Rob Lowe, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Garner, Bill Engvall and others. 44 Blue’s newest docuseries Wahlburgers, became the #1 new show on cable in 2014, earning it an Emmy nomination in its first season on A&E. Stephanie’s distinctions also include being the first producer ever to gain access from the Pentagon to embed in the lives of real-life Army wives for the Gracie Award-winning Married to the Army: Alaska on OWN. She also developed and Executive Produced two of Style's Emmy-nominated series Split Ends and Peter Perfect, and led 44 Blue into the competitive daytime syndication marketplace with the Emmy-nominated Family Court with Judge Penny. Her depth of experience extends into pro-social programming with the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning PBS parenting talk show A Place of Our Own and its Spanish-language counterpart, Los Ninos en su Casa, the first programs ever to be simultaneously produced—over 500 episodes-- in both English and Spanish for an English-language broadcast network.

44 Blue’s diverse 2014 slate includes its long-running and critically acclaimed LOCKUP franchise on MSNBC (14 years and 250 episodes), Animal Planet’s top-rated Pit Bulls & Parolees, going into its sixth season, LMN’s #1-rated Killer Kids, going into its third season and new additions My Flipping Family for HGTV, Breaking Boston on A&E, produced in association with Mark Wahlberg’s Closet to the Hole, and Fox Sports’ breakout Pecos League.

Before returning to 44 Blue in 2003, Stephanie was a studio executive, primarily focused on talk, alternative/reality genres and international formats. As Senior Vice President of Development for Telepictures Productions, Warner Bros.' syndicated programming division, she helped launch the company's expansion into primetime and cable programming. She was directly involved in the development of numerous successful series, including the long-running ABC prime-time mega-hit The Bachelor. Before that, Stephanie was Senior Vice President of Development and Programming for Disney's Buena Vista Television, where she oversaw the launch of the highly successful series Who Wants to be a Millionaire. She previously served as Executive Vice President for Pearson Television (now known as Fremantle Television), Vice President of Programming for Group W Productions, and Director, Development, Buena Vista Television. Stephanie began her career in local television, working as a talk show and live events producer at ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates in Portland, Philadelphia and San Francisco.

After moving to Los Angeles to work at the original Telepictures Productions, she and her husband Rasha co-founded 44 Blue Productions and produced their first series, the nationally syndicated Bob Uecker's Wacky World of Sports. Stephanie is a board member of Hollywood Health & Society and member of the Got Your 6 coalition. She’s a graduate of the University of Oregon in Eugene, holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, and so far has survived being a mother to three sons.
