Lucy Le Gruiec is Senior Sales and Acquisitions Manager at Paris based factual content house ZED. The company focuses on high-quality documentaries and factual series for the French and international market. ZED covers all stages of the factual genre, from production, coproductions and traditional distribution, to the operation of its own VOD channels. In her role, Lucy has been responsible for growing ZED’s presence internationally and landing landmark pre-sale and co-production deals across multiple territories. Lucy also oversees acquisitions, seeking for new productions to take around the globe.
With a background of over 10 years in the TV industry, Lucy has an in-depth knowledge of the International TV and VOD Market. Prior to her current role, she served in the distribution of scripted series such as ‘A French Village’ which she has taken around the globe including to the US and South Korea, along with working in the non-scripted format industry and Cinema, starting at Gaumont. Lucy has a Master’s in Marketing and Distribution in the TV & Media industry.
