Zachary Behr is a seasoned network executive and creative who has been at The History Channel since 2011. During his tenure, he has overseen several key franchises for the network including Pawn Stars, Swamp People, Top Gear, and Counting Cars. Notably, he developed and continues to oversee the network’s hit survival format, ALONE. In addition, Behr spearheaded History’s top rated live special from 2018, EVEL LIVE, as well as the History-100 premium doc strand.
Before joining History, Behr worked at MTV Networks, serving in a number of capacities. He most recently co-executive produced the self-improvement reality series Made for MTV, which earned him two Daytime Emmys.
Before that, he held positions at NBC, WNBC-TV News Channel 4 and PBS, including working on the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
