Eric Schotz, president and CEO of production company Anvil 1893, is a nine-time Emmy® Award winner whose innovative style and creativity has established him as one of the industry’s foremost producers/directors of non-fiction and reality programming. 
 
Schotz created and executive produces the series Money Court for CNBC, with hosts and entrepreneurs Kevin O’Leary (aka Shark Tank’s Mr. Wonderful) and Bethenny Frankel, now in production on season two. He also brought back to television the renowned Kids Say The Darndest Things starring Tiffany Haddish, executive producing the series for CBS in 2021, as well as the network’s 1990s run (ABC aired the series in 2019).
 
Schotz has created and executive produced such hit shows as The Little Couple, Unusual Suspects, Murder Book, Killer Confessions, I Get That A Lot, Celebrity Boot Camp and Guinness Book of World Records Primetime, among many others. He has also executive produced limited series like History Channel’s DB Cooper: Case Closed and Transition of Power: The Presidency, and award-winning documentaries including Marathon Love, A Face for Yulce, and Anatomy of a Giant.
 
He began his career at KQED in San Francisco before moving to KABC-TV in Los Angeles, helping create the magazine series Eye on L.A, and ultimately showrunning the late-night hit Eye on Hollywood for ABC.
