Meyer is a Partner, Executive Vice President and the Head of Alternative & Factual Programming at APA, one of the largest diversified talent agencies in the entertainment industry (with offices in Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, New York, Toronto and London).
Since joining APA in 2006, Meyer has led the growth of its Alternative & Factual Programming (AFP) Department into a market leader, distinguished by a unique business model that promotes unparalleled teamwork and premium levels of packaging and staffing services across all genres of alternative and factual content. Meyer and his colleagues have been instrumental in the sales of scores of hit U.S. series, including Blown Away (Netflix), Dance Moms (Lifetime), Dr. Pimple Popper (TLC), Evil Lives Here (Investigation Discovery) and the Emmy Award-winning Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath (A&E). Furthermore, APA’s AFP Department is the alternative & factual industry's preferred supplier of key staff and talent for top-rated U.S. series, including Gordon Ramsey: Uncharted (National Geographic), Love Is Blind (Netflix), The Weakest Link (NBC), Penn & Teller: Fool Us (CW) and Undercover Billionaire (Discovery).
Meyer began his entertainment industry career in freelance production before segueing to the agency business. Raised in South Florida, he graduated from Northwestern University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications.
