Anne Morrison is a BAFTA and RTS award winning executive producer with a long and distinguished career in documentaries and factual programme making.

Having been a producer/director, she rose within BBC Television to run factual programme departments for over 20 years, including Documentaries and Contemporary Factual, and was responsible for many award winning programmes, with a team of over 1000 programme makers across the UK and in the US. She founded the BBC Academy and led the growth of network
television programmes in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

On leaving the BBC, she became Chair of BAFTA, the second woman to be elected to the position in its history.
In 2018 she was awarded an honorary doctorate by Nottingham Trent University for services to broadcasting and the arts.
She is chair of Pearson College London, a member of the British Academy’s Communications and Engagement Committee, an executive coach and an international keynote speaker on issues such as diversity, change management
and talent development.

Her recent executive production for Nevision includes The Missing Children which won the BAFTA Specialist Factual Award and the RTS International Current Award in 2022, Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes For Lizards, Pale Sister for BBC Arts and The World’s Fattest Man: 10 Years On for ITV Documentaries.
