Patty Suh is Vice President of Programming & Development for Food Network & Cooking Channel at Discovery, Inc. In this role, she is focused on developing new original programming ideas and identifying new on-air talent. She is based in Los Angeles, where she is also charged with facilitating and fostering relationships with the LA based production community.
Previously, she most recently served as the VP of Development at Steve Harvey’s production company, East 112th Street Productions, where she oversaw the casting and development of various projects for broadcast and major cable networks. Prior to that, Suh was a development executive at Keshet Studios, Lighthearted Entertainment and Embassy Row, during which time she developed and worked on series including Are You the One? (MTV), Twinning (VH1), Labor Games (TLC), Last Squad Standing (Oxygen), as well as Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen.
Suh, a graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Communication, began her career in development and production on shows including, The Glee Project (Oxygen) and Stroumboulopoulos (CNN).
