Nate Houghteling is co-founder and executive producer at Portal A, an award-winning content company that creates original series, feature films, podcasts and digital entertainment in partnership with today’s most influential talent.

Houghteling oversees Portal A’s Originals slate, shepherding projects from conception through development and production. Most recently, he developed and executive produced the inspirational Snap Original docuseries Level Up with Stephen Curry, as well as Snap’s award-winning scripted series Action Royale, starring Kim Coates. Houghteling and Portal A also
produce iHeart Media’s hit podcast Charges with Rex Chapman, which is currently being adapted for television, with other credits including Ultimate Home Championship and SXSW feature film premiere (and GLAAD Award-winner) State of Pride, both for YouTube Originals. Houghteling and Portal A have also recently teamed with lauded documentary group Brick City
for Crypto Beach, a new docuseries centered around the cryptocurrency boom in Miami.

Backed by Brent Montgomery and Jimmy Kimmel’s Wheelhouse, Portal A has worked with talent including Adam Rippon, Keke Palmer, The Try Guys, Laverne Cox, Bill Nye and Emma Chamberlain, and brands such as Google, YouTube, Target, Clorox, Amazon and Lyft. Portal A's work has been viewed over one billion times, and the company was named Digiday’s “Best Video Agency” in 2019 and “Best Content Agency” in 2018.
