Pete Gaffney is a veteran TV programming strategist, with over 25 years running programming departments at a variety of cable networks, including The History Channel, VH1, A&E, AMC, and currently Vice TV. Pete has launched some of the biggest cable programs ever, including Pawn Stars, Ice Road Truckers, Behind The Music, Hatfields & McCoys and Dark Side Of The Ring, the highest rated show in Vice TV's history. In his current role, Pete runs the content strategy at Vice, greenlighting the slate for Vice TV and designing the flow of content across a variety of content platforms. In addition to his TV resumé, Pete is also a podcaster and an author, specializing in pop culture, nostalgia, history, and the intersection of all three.
