Undaunted Content

D’Angela Proctor’s career spans from being an attorney, entrepreneur, showrunner and Executive Producer to a network, studio and c-suite executive. In 2019, Proctor tapped into her entrepreneurial roots with the launch of Undaunted Content, a film and television production company and media consulting firm. Proctor recently executive produced OWN’s Eggs Over Easy documentary, Hallmark’s The Holiday Stocking, Lifetime’s Line Sisters and is currently in pre-production on a soon to be announced documentary and post on another Lifetime film. Undaunted Content also provides consulting services in the areas of strategy, organizational design, business development, business affairs, leadership, branded content, social impact and belonging. Current and previous consulting clients include ARRAY Filmworks, HULU, BLD PWR and a confidential media SPAC.

 

Before launching Undaunted Content, Proctor served as the CEO of Justin Baldoni’s Wayfarer Entertainment, a social impact production company dedicated to creating content that serves as agents for social change. During Proctor’s tenure, Wayfarer won 25+ awards and honors for its branded content campaigns, including five Telly Awards. She also served as the Head of Production & Business Development of Codeblack Films, a Lionsgate Company and Head of Original Programming and Production at TV One. During her tenure at TV One, Proctor maintained the creative and business affairs oversight for all original programming, including 1000+ hours of news and public affairs programming, hundreds of hours of true crime & justice and reality programming, five NAACP Image Awards, and a host of other specials and programming initiatives. 

 

Before entering the media business, Proctor practiced law at Reed, Smith, Shaw & McClay in Pittsburgh, PA. Proctor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Spelman College and a Juris Doctorate and Master of Science degree in Leadership from Duquesne University.
