Truly Original

Emmy Award-winning producer Chachi Senior is head of development at Truly Original, with creative oversight of the unscripted behemoth’s robust development roster, encompassing documentary, reality, big formats, competition, game and more.
 
Senior was previously head of alternative development and original programming at Paramount Network, overseeing franchises including Ink Master (produced by Truly Original) and Bar Rescue. Senior also executive produced the Peabody award-winning documentary series TIME:The Kalief Browder Story; the Emmy-nominated Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, which also received a 2019 Television Academy Special Honors award; and the Joe Berlinger-directed Gone: The Forgotten Women of Ohio. He also earned two Emmy awards for the documentary series Book Obsessed.
 
Prior to Paramount, Senior was CEO of entertainment format company Ardaban (whose content was produced in conjunction with then-Shine America, now Endemol Shine North America). Creating, selling and producing programming around the world to networks/companies including BBC America, Bravo, CMT, E!, Endemol, Fremantle, Fuji TV, Comedy Central, Food Network, Oxygen, Travel and Tru TV, he also launched such global formats as Chopped, Momentum, Randy Jackson Presents Lovesong, No Kitchen Required, and Winsanity!, among others. Before Ardaban, Senior served as co-president of IAC’s Notional; he also spent three years at City Lights Media and was at AMC Networks and First Motionless Pictures. 
 
Senior has also produced independent films including Los Angeles Film Festival winner and Independent Spirit Award nominee Unknown Soldier, and South-by-Southwest Audience Award-winner Blackballed - the Bobby Dukes Story. He is also an accomplished photographer whose photos have appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and People
magazine.
