Shaun Alperin is Head of Content, Prime Video for Canada. He has been at Amazon since August 2020, since joining Alperin has acquired hundreds of titles for Amazon, including Prime Video’s all-time most popular documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, TIFF's People's Choice Documentary winners The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal and Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make Believe, SXSW and Hot Docs screened docuseries Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks, the French-language reality series Elisabeth Rioux: Sans filtre, and hit-movies such as Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre and Moonfall.
Prior to joining Amazon Studios, Alperin was Director, Business Development, International Digital Networks at Starz. Previously, Alperin has worked at Hulu, ESPN and Cinedigm. Alperin holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated with distinction.
