Realscreen Summit's highly-anticipated live international pitch competition returns for another year with development deals worth up to US$20,000!
Entries are now open for the Summit Showdown, where producers and content creators vie for the opportunity to pitch a new, not yet commissioned unscripted or non-fiction one-off program or series. This year, we’re excited to announce the addition of supporting network NBCUniversal (Crime & Documentary) as well as the return of Food Network, who will each provide a maximum $20,000 development deal to a winning project for their network*. One winner for each network will be crowned at the live pitch competition taking place in January at the Realscreen Summit in New Orleans.
In addition to the entry form, entrants must submit a signed submission release form, a three-minute video sizzle reel or pitch and a one-page paper pitch. Before submitting, entrants must also read the creative brief for the network they want to be considered for.
Finalists selected for the Summit Showdown will need to be a registered delegate for Realscreen Summit 2024 to be eligible to participate in the competition. Employees of Realscreen, its parent company Brunico Communications, and the participating networks are not permitted to enter.
Submissions for Summit Showdown 2025 will open in September.
