Kristina Edwards currently serves as Vice President, Unscripted Formats and Competitions, NBCUniversal Entertainment. Based in Los Angeles, she reports to Corie Henson, EVP Unscripted Content, NBCUniversal Entertainment.
Kristina is responsible for Unscripted Current and Development for Peacock, NBC, Bravo, USA, and E!. She currently oversees Deal Or No Deal Island, Love Island, Love Island Games, and The Big D plus many other additional projects.
Prior to NBCUniversal, Kristina served as Vice President of Current and Development at Warner Bros Discovery (previously known as the TNets - TBS, TNT, and Tru). She was responsible for two seasons of TBS’ number one performance competition show The Go Big Show, Tournament of Laughs with Jason Sudeikis, and the Snoop Dogg New Years Eve Special. At TNT, she launched two seasons of the docu-follow Shaq Life. Finally on Tru, she worked on multiple seasons of the successful Impractical Jokers franchise, two seasons of the cult hit Fast Foodies, and 101 Places To Party Before You Die with Adam Pally and Jon Gabrus, Big Trick Energy, and Top Secret Videos. Kristina was point executive on The Screen Actors Guild Awards, The Critics Choice Awards, and AFI Lifetime Achievement Award Show(s).
She also worked at Facebook Watch in unscripted development, where she was responsible for creative oversight and managing non-scripted projects on the platform. Kristina also helped shepherd to series premium titles such as Will Smith's Bucket List (Facebook Watch’s biggest launch to date), Kelly Ripa and Rachel Harris’ Head and Faces, and 365 Days of Love with Sofia Vergara. She also assisted on developing The Real World reboot, both the domestic and international versions, respectively.
Kristina previously served as a consultant for varying networks and vice president of programing and development at MTV from 2010-2017, where she was instrumental in rebranding the network as a millennial destination. While there, Kristina led more than 100 hours of current programming across various unscripted content formats, while supervising the network’s full pipeline of development and current unscripted series, including Ridiculousness, America’s Best Dance Crew, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, Rob & Big, Jackass, and Wonderland LIVE.
