Brooke Townsend is Sr. Director of Nonfiction Programming and Development for The HISTORY Channel. In this role, Townsend oversees multiple hit programs, including Pawn Stars, Pawn Stars Do America, and History’s Greatest Mysteries, as well as maintains a robust development slate.
A veteran of A+E Networks, Townsend began her tenure at LMN. During her time with LMN, Townsend was an instrumental part of the programming team that developed and produced, Escaping Polygamy, I Love You, But I Lied, and My Crazy Ex.
Prior to joining A+E Networks, Townsend began her career in talk shows, including The Montel Williams Show, The Tyra Show and The Nate Berkus Show.
Townsend holds a Bachelor's Degree from Marist College where she majored in Communications. She currently resides in Long Island, NY with her daughter.
