Angelina Rivero is Director of Programming at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. She plays a key role in creating and executing the content strategy for Spanish language broadcast networks, Telemundo and Telexitos, as well as Spanish language cable network, UNIVERSO, reporting directly to the EVP of Programming and Content Development, Sandra Smester. In addition to her responsibilities in the Programming team, Rivero also co-leads the Miami chapter of the Women’s Network at NBCUniversal.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises in 2016, Rivero worked in the Latin American market with Warner Bros. Discovery (previously Discovery, Inc.) as part of the Media Planning team, and interned at various other media companies such as Viacom, WDNA and the Tallahassee Democrat.
Angelina earned her B.S. in Media Communication Studies from FSU with a minor in Hispanic Marketing.
