Speaker Dane Joseph
Dane Joseph serves as Vice President of Unscripted Series for Hulu, where he’s helped spearhead the development of the unscripted series slate and oversees current for over two dozen nonfiction series, including the record-breaking launch of The Kardashians, The D’Amelio Show, Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi, Rapcaviar Presents with Spotify and IPC, the Neil Patrick Harris helmed Drag Me to Dinner, and the upcoming Vanderpump Villa, among others.
Prior to Hulu, Dane served as a Vice President of Development for MTV and VH1, where he developed such series as My True Crime Story, Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly, My Celebrity Dream Wedding, multiple episodes of the True Life franchise, and many more. He previously oversaw development at Hot Snakes Media where he did development and casting for such networks as Bravo, Lifetime, TLC, BET, Discovery, Animal Planet, Oxygen, WeTV, HGTV, and more, with series including The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns, Breaking Amish, Return to Amish, Escaping Alaska, Extinct or Alive, The Pioneers, and many more.
He began his career as an NBC Page and at CNBC, is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy and Seton Hall University, and holds a masters from Columbia University.
