David Karabinas is Chief Executive Officer of Austin-based Texas Crew Productions (TCP), part of Asylum Entertainment Group.

Under his stewardship, TCP has grown into a NAACP and Emmy award-winning production company, bringing ideas from concept to network premiere for everything from premium documentaries and specials, to streaming content and episodic unscripted television series. TCP’s current and former clients include Hulu, Facebook, YouTube, ESPN, HISTORY, Travel, Oxygen, Discovery, Magnolia Network, A+E, FYI, ID, AXS, and Fox.

Notable content includes the NAACP Image Award-winning two-hour special The 44th President: In His Own Words (HISTORY); ESPN 30 for 30's Brian and the Boz and Phi Slama Jama; the six-part investigative series In the Valley of Sin (FOX); the reboot of the long-running series Sell This House (A+E); the reboot of Ripley’s Believe It or Not (Travel); and hundreds of hours of true crime programming such as How I Caught my Killer (Hulu), Chopper Cops (Paramount+), Pillowcase Murders (Paramount+), Exposed Naked Crimes (ID), Killer Relationships with Faith Jenkins (Oxygen), Myth of the Zodiac Killer (Peacock), among many more. The company has also partnered with 50 Cent on the highly anticipated Netflix docuseries about the allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In 2022, Karabinas coordinated a strategic partnership with Asylum Entertainment Group, which is part of Endeavor’s Nonscripted Content Group.

He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.
