Sue Murphy is Director Factual Entertainment ITV and leads a team commissioning Primetime Programmes for ITV, ITVX and ITV2 including Lee Mack’s The 1% Club, Gordon, Gino & Fred’s Road Trip, Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends, Bradley and Barney Breaking Dad, Olivia Attwood Getting Filthy Rich and Price of Perfection, Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King, Tik Tok Murder Gone Viral and Social Media Murders.
Prior to joining ITV Sue’s previous roles included Creative Director and Joint Managing Director at Optomen TV, Head of Factual Entertainment at Channel 5 and for 10 years was Head of Features and Factual Entertainment at Channel 4, responsible with her team for many iconic Factual Entertainment Brands including Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word, the campaigning Big Food Fights, Embarrassing Bodies, Undercover Boss, How to Look Good Naked, Supersize vs Superskinny, Sexual Education vs Porn, Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners and hundreds of hours of successful, award-winning Factual Entertainment Formats and Documentaries.
Sue started her career at Granada TV as film researcher on World in Action amongst other shows and also did her time on Granada Tonight and This Morning.
