Kelly Nash is the Co-Head of Nonfiction Programming for AMC, SundanceTV, and BBC America, where she develops and oversees a broad range of series across genres including pop culture documentaries, true crime, natural history, sports, and talk. In her dual role, she manages both development and current programming, with a significant focus on documentary
anthologies.

Kelly has been a key architect behind AMC Visionaries, the network's acclaimed documentary anthology series. This includes high-profile seasons such as Robert Kirkman's Secret History of Comics, James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction, and Eli Roth's History of Horror.

In addition to her work at AMC, Kelly launched SundanceTV’s true crime franchise, True Crime Story, and oversees a slate of hard-hitting documentaries within the genre. Her credits in the franchise include the social justice series It Couldn’t Happen Here, the provocative Smugshot, the limited doc series Look Into My Eyes and The Tailor of Sin City, and upcoming
The Furry Detectives, which examines the role of animals in criminal investigations. These projects continue her commitment to exploring real-world crime through unique, insightful lenses, with upcoming work including a deep dive into citizen detectives and crime through the lens of entitlement. Kelly is also currently working on an unannounced premium sports documentary for AMC, which will further expand the network's footprint in compelling, high-impact nonfiction storytelling.

At BBC America, Kelly has played a major role in launching iconic natural history series like Meerkat Manor and is currently overseeing the highly anticipated Asia and Kingdom both narrated by the legendary Sir David Attenborough. Recently, Planet Earth III garnered widespread recognition, receiving multiple Creative Arts Emmy Award nominations,
underscoring its critical acclaim and cultural impact.

Before her current role, Kelly served as Vice President of Development at Fishbowl Worldwide Media, where she developed and produced a wide variety of series for networks such as Animal Planet, Fuse, MTV, Bravo, The CW, E!, Discovery, VH1, and more.
Kelly’s entertainment career began at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, where she helped to build talent and television projects. She then worked as a line producer on the feature film A Lot Like Love, starring Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet. She later transitioned to television, contributing to programming at Oxygen Network, New Line Television, and collaborating with renowned executive producer Marty Adelstein.

In addition to her extensive industry experience, Kelly is an active member of Women In Film and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
