The More You Know: Avoiding Liability in the Production Workplace
Over the past few years, and especially in the aftermath of #MeToo, New York and California have led the way in legislation aimed at providing more protection for employees in the U.S. Thus, production companies operating in these states, and increasingly in others, must get up to speed on new legal requirements in order to ensure compliance with the law and avoid liability. This session will cover the new laws on sexual harassment, paid family leave, pay equity and worker misclassification, and is a must attend for production companies who want to stay ahead of the game.
