Jean-Pierre Laurendeau began is television career in the mid-eighties as production manager for what is known today as the TVA network. Head of programming for Canal D from 2003 to 2015, he now manages 7 specialty television services for Bell Média in French Canada: Canal D, for documentary, Canal Vie, for lifestyle, Z, for comedy and high testosterone, Investigation for crime, Vrak for fiction, Cinepop for cinema classics and Super Écran, a premium pay television service.
