Jon Adler is Senior Director of Development for CNN Original Series at CNN, based in New York City. In this position, he is responsible for cultivating relationships within the creative community and developing original programming across a variety of CNN platforms. He is responsible for the development (and management/coordination thereof) of show concepts for CNN Original Series and HLN Original Series. Identifying external production companies as series partners, he works with producers to develop content for CNN from pitch to pilot/presentation to series order. He is also required to foster strong relationships with the selling community.
Projects recently worked on for CNN include but are not limited to: Finding Jesus, Blackfish, This is Life with Lisa Ling, The Sixties, The Seventies, The Eighties, The History of Comedy, and Soundtracks: Songs That Defined History.
