Jenn is an accomplished senior media executive with a career spanning both creative and business aspects of the international entertainment industry across production, distribution and publishing. She joined Brunico Communications as Executive Director of the Banff World Media Festival (BANFF) & Associate Publisher of Playback in 2017, spearheading strategy and commercial operations for both the conference and the publication. Prior to joining Brunico, Jenn was Director of International Distribution at Proper Rights where she specialized in global program and format sales, led the company’s digital distribution mandate and worked with independent producers on presales and international financing. As VP, Development at Cream Productions, Jenn oversaw creation and financing of television series for top channels in Canada, the US and Europe. The company’s production volume doubled under her leadership with more than 10 original series greenlit including Emmy-nominated Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan, which Jenn created and co-executive produced. She spent a decade as Canadian Bureau Chief at C21media.net, contributing to the company’s growth from start-up into to one of the world’s most influential media business publications. In addition, Jenn also oversaw a team of international correspondents as Editor of C21’s Factual Week, a news and analysis source focused on unscripted programming. She has been invited to speak at industry conferences worldwide and is also adjunct faculty at York University, teaching a course entitled The Business of Film, Television and Digital Media.
