Hayden K. Meyer is a Partner, Board Member, Senior Vice President and the Head of Alternative & Factual Programming at APA, one of the largest diversified and privately-owned talent agencies in the industry with offices in Beverly Hills, Nashville, Atlanta, New York, Toronto and London.
Since joining APA in 2006, Meyer has led the growth of its Alternative & Factual Programming Department into a market leader, distinguished by a unique business model which promotes unparalleled teamwork and premium levels of packaging and staffing services across all genres of alternative and factual entertainment. Meyer and his colleagues have been instrumental in the sales of hundreds of series, including Car Masters: Rust to Riches (Netflix), Dance Moms (Lifetime), Dr. Pimple Popper (TLC), Evil Lives Here (ID), Haunted Towns (Trvl), Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath (A&E), The Deed (CNBC) and The Joker's Wild (TBS). In addition, their AFP Department is the industry's preferred supplier of upper-level staff for top-rated shows, such as American Ninja Warrior (NBC), Are You the One? (MTV), Big Brother (CBS), Chrisley Knows Best (USA), Forged in Fire (History), Gold Rush (Discovery), So You Think You Can Dance (FOX), and The $100,000 Pyramid (ABC). Furthermore, APA's institutional approach to client representation continually generates opportunities for AFP Department clients in other areas of entertainment, including scripted programming, publishing, podcasting, live event touring and endorsements.
Meyer began his entertainment industry career in freelance film and television production before segueing to the agency business. Raised in South Florida, he graduated from Northwestern University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications.
