Amanda Spain is a documentary producer/director with over 15 years of experience. She is the founder of Giving Voice Films which is committed to producing compelling documentaries for both the large and small screen. Most recently, Amanda produced the audience favorite Bathtubs Over Broadway which premiered at Tribeca and was nabbed by Focus Features. Director/Producer credits include two short documentaries for ESPN's acclaimed 30 FOR 30 series: Wrestling the Curse and Son of South Sudan (executive produced by Eva Longoria) and In Their Boots, a documentary series about the impact of war on American service members and their families for PBS (executive produced by Robert Greenwald). Amanda has extensive experience as a Supervising Producer on numerous series for outlets such as A&E, PBS, MTV, HLN and The Sundance Channel and her films have been accepted into film festivals across the country. Amanda is a Sundance Creative Producing Fellow.
