SUMMIT SHOWDOWN: INTERNATIONAL PITCH COMPETITION
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
Realscreen Summit's highly-anticipated live international pitch competition is back with TWO (2) $20,000 development deals up for grabs for the 2020 competition, and a new participating network on board.
Entries are now open for the Summit Showdown, where producers and content creators vie for the opportunity to pitch a new, not yet commissioned unscripted or non-fiction one-off program or series. This year, we’re excited to announce our supporting networks will be A&E and HGTV, who will each provide one (1) $20,000 development deal to a winning project for their network. One winner for each network will be crowned at the live pitch competition taking place Monday, January 27, 2020 at Realscreen Summit.
The 2020 Summit Showdown is presented in partnership with West One Music Group, who will provide the Grand Prize winners of the Summit Showdown an exclusive custom theme song and blanket library package for their show. In addition to creating the title track for the pilot, West One will provide music direction and full access to their award-winning library of more than 55,000 tracks.
In addition to the entry form, entrants must submit a signed submission release form, a three-minute video sizzle reel or pitch and a one-page paper pitch. Before submitting, entrants must also read the creative brief for the network they want to be considered for:
Participants in the Summit Showdown must be registered for Realscreen Summit 2020 to enter the competition. Deadline for entries is Friday, December 13, 2019.
