Jason Sarlanis joined TLC in December 2016 as Senior Vice President, Development. Based out of the Los Angeles office, Sarlanis oversees development teams on both coasts, spearheading such projects as 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, sMothered, Sweet Home Sextuplets and The Family Chantel. Sarlanis reports directly to TLC President, Howard Lee.

Prior to TLC, Sarlanis joined the network from ABC where he was charged with leading development and current primetime programming as Vice President, Alternative Series and Specials, developing new series such as To Tell the Truth and Battlebots. His role also included spearheading Disney ABC Television Group’s Alternative Department in the international format marketplace.

In addition, Sarlanis served as Vice President, Original Programming and Series Development at E! Entertainment Television where he provided creative oversight of series including The Soup, Fashion Police and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Before joining ABC, Sarlanis also served as Senior Vice President at Ryan Seacrest Productions.

Sarlanis graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Film & Television.
