Bengt joined the National Geographic Channel as an Executive Producer in Production in April of 2017. He currently helms LIMITLESS W/CHRIS HEMSWORTH, RACE TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH, RUNNING WILD W/BEAR GRYLLS, TRAFFICKED W/MARIANA VAN ZELLER and TORN (NG feature doc), for the network. Prior to joining the Channel he spent close to four years designing and executing series at National Geographic Studios as Executive Producer of Production and Development. 

Before his tenure at NatGeo, Bengt was a creative for hire working as both a show runner and director in the unscripted, documentary and sketch comedy genres and is known for his ability to synthesize and translate complicated subject matter into meaningful entertainment.

In addition to his work at National Geographic, Bengt has produced/directed such hit shows such as the Emmy Award nominated Undercover Boss (CBS), Emmy Award winning competition reality series, Top Chef (BRAVO),  American Pickers (History Ch.), The Marriage Ref (NBC), Backyard Oil, Brew Masters, Dual Survival, The Detonators (Discovery Ch), Wife Swap(ABC) and the hilarious sketch comedy series Stankervision (MTV2). 

Bengt is a proud graduate of the California Institute of the Arts 2000.
