Matt Trierweiler serves as Director of Original Programming and Development for HGTV and DIY Networks. In this role, he is responsible for developing and supervising series and specials.
Prior to joining Discovery, he was VP of Program Development at CMT. Over his five-year tenure at the Viacom-owned network, he served as an executive producer on such original series as Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, The Dude Perfect Show, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, Sun Records, The Josh Wolf Show, I Love Kellie Pickler, and Pontoon Payday.
Trierweiler is a graduate of Michigan State University.
