Krista Look is the Director of Original Lifestyle Content for Corus Entertainment in Toronto. In this role, she is responsible for steering the original content strategies and reality/lifestyle slates for some of Canada’s most-watched networks including HGTV Canada, Food Network Canada, Slice and Global Television.

Krista’s Corus Studios lifestyle team is a centre of excellence for premium content with a roster of shows sold around the world, including Masters of FlipIsland of Bryan, Home to Win and Big Food Bucket List. Quality creative storytelling, top-notch talent and maintaining first-rate production values, all while satisfying sponsorship, digital and social media needs, are at the core of her slate.

Krista’s razor-sharp instincts for creating crowd-pleasing content and discovering fresh talent is widely recognized and her versatility and notoriously boundless passion have made her a true industry leader.

Prior to joining Corus as a broadcaster in 2015, Krista spent 22 years overseeing the production of top-tier lifestyle content for Canada’s premier networks. As a series producer, director, writer and food/design expert, Krista led the production of over 1,000 half-hours and 500 hours of field- and studio-based content.

Early in her career, Krista served as President and Executive Producer of Look Entertainment, the production company behind Food Network Canada’s nightly flagship series Christine Cushing Live. She also served as a Development Executive for CBC, where she created the talk show Steven and Chris and served as Executive Producer on the hit daytime series Best Recipes Ever and In the Kitchen with Stefano Faita.

Krista has overseen the production of numerous international formats in the Canadian market, including Iron Chef, Top Chef, The Bachelor, The Real Housewives, Big Brother and MasterChef. She also created and developed dozens of original concepts, like Fire Masters, The Big Bake and Wall of Chefs (Food Network Canada) and home renovation shows such as $ave My Reno, Farmhouse Facelift and Family Home Overhaul.
