Brian McGinn is an Emmy-nominated director, writer and producer. He is best known for directing, writing and producing the acclaimed feature documentary Amanda Knox, executive producing and directing the award-winning series Chef's Table, and co-creating and executive producing the series Street Food. He previously directed the comedy special Ferrell Takes The Field, starring Will Ferrell, as well as an episode of the 2018 Alex Gibney series Dirty Money.
Along with Jason Sterman and David Gelb, McGinn is one of the partners in the production company Supper Club, who began an overall deal with the Walt Disney Company for non-fiction programming in 2019. They are currently producing a number of series and feature films for Disney+, including Marvel's 616, Disney's People & Places, the original documentary series Earthkeepers, about conservationists around the world, and Wolfgang, a feature documentary about Wolfgang Puck.
McGinn has also been a contributor to McSweeney's and The New Yorker.
